OWO Haptic Suit

Turn stream events into sensations you can actually feel. VMSC drives the OWO skin haptic suit across its muscle zones with built-in presets, multi-vest support, intensity scaling, and an instant emergency stop.

What is OWO?

OWO is a wearable haptic suit (the "OWO Skin") that reproduces physical sensations — taps, pulses, heartbeats, and more — across independent muscle zones on the body. VMSC integrates with OWO so a gift, follow, subscription, or chat command can trigger a real, felt sensation on stream.

Sensations are short, pre-shaped patterns. VMSC ships a library of built-in presets and can also load your own custom sensation files, so each stream event can map to a distinct feeling.

Premium Feature

OWO integration is part of the Premium edition. Free users can see the OWO settings but cannot connect a suit or fire OWO actions.

How VMSC Connects to OWO

VMSC talks to the OWO suit through a small bundled helper process ("OwoBridge") that ships inside the app — there is nothing extra to install. When OWO is enabled, VMSC launches the bridge automatically and keeps it alive for as long as the feature is on.

  • Auto-discovery — the bridge scans your local network for an OWO suit and connects as soon as one is found.
  • Manual IP — if auto-discovery can't reach your suit (some networks block discovery), you can enter the suit's IP address directly.
  • Self-healing — if the connection drops, the bridge keeps retrying quietly in the background and reconnects on its own, with no errors spammed to the UI.
  • Single instance — exactly one bridge runs at a time; disabling OWO shuts it down cleanly.
OWO App / Game Mode

Make sure your OWO suit is powered on and in the connectable state per the official OWO app before enabling the integration in VMSC.

Setting Up OWO

  1. Open OWO Settings

    In VMSC, go to Outputs > OWO (or the OWO tab in Settings).

  2. Enable OWO

    Turn on the master Enable OWO toggle. VMSC launches the bridge and begins searching for your suit.

  3. Connect Your Suit

    Wait for auto-discovery to find the suit, or enter its IP address manually and click connect. The status indicator turns green once the suit responds.

  4. Send a Test Sensation

    Use the Test button to fire a gentle preset and confirm you can feel it before going live.

Muscle Zones

The OWO Skin is divided into independent muscle zones (up to ten, depending on your model — chest, abdomen, arm, and back regions). Each OWO action can target one zone, several zones, or all of them at once, so you can localize a sensation (a tap on one arm) or spread it across the whole suit (a full-body pulse).

Target what you wear

Only target zones your suit actually has placement pads for. Targeting an unequipped zone simply does nothing.

Sensation Presets

VMSC ships a set of built-in sensations you can assign to any event. Each is a distinct feel:

Heartbeat

A slow, double-thump rhythm — great for tension, hype trains, or pairing with the heart-rate feature.

Pulse

A single rolling wave across the targeted zones. A clean, neutral "something happened" notifier.

Punch

A sharp, high-intensity hit. Good for big gifts or dramatic moments.

Tingle / Shiver

A light, shimmering sensation that spreads gently — subtle reactions for likes and follows.

Caress

A soft, slow stroke. A friendly, low-key feel for chat interactions.

Boop / Zap

A quick tap (boop) or a snappy jolt (zap) for short, punchy notifications.

Custom Sensations

Drop your own sensation JSON files into owo/sensations/ in VMSC's user-data folder. Custom files override a built-in preset when they share the same id, so you can fully tune the feel.

Creating OWO Actions

  1. Create or Edit a Rule

    Go to Rules and add or edit a rule, then choose the trigger event (gift, follow, subscription, chat command, etc.).

  2. Add an OWO Action

    Click Add Action and pick OWO. Choose the sensation, the target muscle zones, and an intensity.

  3. Scale With the Event (Optional)

    Use a template value in the intensity field (for example a gift's value) to make bigger gifts feel stronger, capped at your configured maximum.

  4. Save and Test

    Save the rule and fire it from the Dev Test Panel to confirm the right zones activate at the expected strength.

Multi-Vest Support

VMSC can drive more than one OWO suit at the same time — useful for collab streams or couples streaming together. Connected suits each appear in the OWO panel, and actions fan out to every connected vest. A mutex keeps overlapping sensations from colliding so each suit plays cleanly.

Safety and Emergency Stop

OWO sensations are non-electrical and designed to be comfortable, but you remain in control at all times:

  • E-STOP — a one-click emergency stop halts all active sensations immediately and blocks further OWO actions until you re-enable them.
  • Intensity cap — set a global maximum so no rule can exceed your comfort level, even when scaling from event values.
  • Cooldowns — per-rule cooldowns prevent rapid-fire stream events from stacking sensations on top of each other.
Test before you go live

Always run a test sensation and confirm the E-STOP works before streaming. Start intensities low and raise them only once you know how each preset feels on you.
