Overview

The Analytics system in VMSC aggregates data from every connected platform and presents it in a unified dashboard. Whether you stream on TikTok, Twitch, YouTube, Kick, or any combination, analytics gives you a single view of your performance.

Data is tracked per session and stored historically, so you can compare performance over time and identify trends.

Per-Platform Stats Tracking

Every metric in VMSC is tracked on a per-platform basis. This means you can see not just your total gift count, but how many gifts came from TikTok versus Twitch versus YouTube. The following metrics are tracked per platform:

Session Data

Each stream session is recorded as a discrete data point. A session starts when VMSC detects that a stream has begun (or when you manually start tracking) and ends when the stream stops. Session records include:

  • Start & end time with total duration.
  • All per-platform metrics for the session period.
  • Peak concurrent viewers and average viewer count.
  • Total unique viewers who interacted during the session.

Filterable Breakdowns

The session detail view includes filters that let you slice the data by:

  • Platform — Show stats for a single platform or all platforms combined.
  • Time range — Focus on a specific portion of the session.
  • Event type — View only gifts, only messages, only follows, etc.

Diamonds, Bits, Super Chats & Donations

VMSC tracks monetary contributions from every supported platform:

TikTok Diamonds

Every TikTok gift has a diamond value. VMSC sums the diamond value of all gifts received during a session and displays it alongside the gift count. You can view diamond totals per session and across all historical sessions.

Twitch Bits

Bits cheered in your Twitch channel are tracked per session. The analytics dashboard shows total bits, average bits per cheer, and top bit donors.

YouTube Super Chats

Super Chat and Super Sticker contributions from YouTube are tracked with their currency value. VMSC records the amount in the original currency as reported by YouTube.

Donations (Streamlabs & StreamElements)

Donations received through Streamlabs or StreamElements are tracked separately from platform-native contributions. The analytics dashboard shows donation totals, averages, and top donors.

Historical Data

All session data is stored persistently, building a historical record of your streaming activity. The historical view lets you:

  • Browse past sessions with date-based navigation.
  • Compare metrics between sessions to spot growth trends.
  • View cumulative totals across all sessions (e.g., total diamonds earned all-time).
  • Filter historical data by platform to analyze platform-specific growth.

Viewer Leaderboards

The leaderboards rank your viewers by various metrics. Leaderboards are available at both the session level (who contributed the most this stream) and the all-time level (who has contributed the most across all sessions).

LeaderboardRanked By
Top GiftersTotal gift value (diamonds, bits, Super Chat amount)
Top ChattersTotal message count
Top DonorsTotal donation amount (Streamlabs / StreamElements)
Most ActiveCombined event count (messages + gifts + likes + shares)

Each leaderboard entry shows the viewer’s name, their value for the ranked metric, and a colored platform badge indicating which platform they were most active on.

Platform Breakdown Table

At the bottom of the analytics dashboard, a Platform Breakdown table provides a side-by-side comparison of all connected platforms. Each row represents a platform and shows all tracked metrics in columns. Platforms are identified by colored badges matching their brand colors.

This table is especially useful for multi-platform streamers who want to understand which platform drives the most engagement and revenue.

The platform breakdown table respects your current session or date range filter. Switch between “This Session” and “All Time” to see different views.
